Hey guys. I'm Juliette and welcome to my blog! Woohoo, if you have reached this page it means a) you're lost on the internet and you're asking yourself who the heck is this freak?, b) you'd like to know more about France, exchange year, food, traveling... me, c) are we related? friends maybe?, d) none of the previous answers which can be either good or bad. Anyway, just to summarize the history of this page : I created this blog a long time ago to share my life as an exchange student in America. Now, I write when I feel like it, about whatever I feel like talking about. My life ain't really intresting but we all have our story and here is part of mine. (Also, sometimes I do write about smart stuff you might be intrested in). Check it out and forgive me whenever I sound foolish or when I make mistakes. This is all personal. Love, Juliette

X-mas & whatever

Ok... I will try to write with originality because I don't want to have a boring blog! ;) I will "mix" french and english because I CAN DO IT!! hahaha I'm kidding... I'll just write like I speak so bad!

Well, American Christmas isn't really different of the french Noël. I mean, it's just Christmas tree, food, presents, family... I guess Christmas is "plus ou moins" (more or less) the same everywhere.

The december 22th, we went to church, just the sisters. Ate a lot, sang and prayed.

The december 23th, I did gift wrapping with Brianna at the mall. We collected money for the band. It was busy and crowded!! I like wrapping and it was fun. We do that from 9am to 3pm.

The december 24th, gift wrapping again! From 3pm to 6pm the even Christmas day. We wrapped many things... clothes, toys... ah! a very famous one "Justin Bieber secret box" :/ . The evening, we ate with the missionary (les missionaires Mormons). I forget what exactly we ate but it was good.

The december 25th, CHRISTMAS!! I woke up early, actually not really around 9 but for me it's early. We took a seat around the tree and unwrap the presents!! I got chocolate and candy, pensil, american flag, USB key (just for picture "8000 pictures"), $10 and a tiny, cute clarinet with "Juliette 2013"... so cute and the best one pull from France THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! The rest of the day, we went to Marce's brother & co'. Food again. I ate brownies and there was a huge cheese cake but I didn't even try. I played Mario cart on wii with the kid (thanks brothers, I'm not too bad thanks to you haha. I practiced with Nico) and I talked with everyone. At the end, after "dinner" (it was not really a dinner just "self-service"), the Filipinos Santa Claus came to distribute maybe 50 presents because we were maybe 15 with the cousins, grandparents, parents, boyfriend and other guys! I got 30 pensils, 3 nutella, a ugly necklace, coockies... I want to say thank you everyone, thanks family. I'm too glad to live with you. Then, we left and because american people are crazy, they took me to see the Christmas lights. One house, a neighbor completely crazy, every inch covered with lights and funny charecters like Snoopy, horses and of course Santa Claus... Santa who skiing, Santa who taking a bath, Santa who driving, Santa with 90' style and the most fun Santa in the toilet!!

Everyday I Skyped with my family and my friends (and boyfriend). So, thank you Skype even if it's always blurry or with no sound. Thanks skype save my life.

Today, the december 26th, I was an amazing day with Ian and his family.

Ok, I really need to said thank you because, a lot of people makes me happy during this week. Thank you mam', dad' and fab' because, if I am here in California, thanks to you. Thank you Grand-parents to save my life with the presents for everyone and for me, thank you dad and Sandrine ... money and many skype with you.Thank you host family to welcom me during one whole year and thanks, my christmas presents are perfect. Thank you the rest of the family to accept me and to give me a place in your family. Thanks for the presents. Thank you very much Maria (Marce's sister) and Jon, your card make me very happy and proud of me : "Juliette, it is an honor to have you as part of our family". wonderful word. thank you. And now... thank you Ian, you transformed my life : wonderful, you are wonderful! I love you.

Je pense que j'ai fait le tour de tout. Les vacances ne sont pas terminées, je pense encore raconter ma vie longtemps.
