Arizona & the Grand Canyon
Welcome to Arizona!
For the first time, I left California. 8 hours driving to go to Phoenix, Arizona. It was really interesting to see the changing landscape along the trip. Passed through the desert, through a forest, through the cactus fields. In Arizona, the weather is really hot, the sky is almost white, everything is dry and there was cactus everywhere haha. The towns aren't pretty, low buildings, nothing interesting except the small town close to the Grand Canyon was pretty cute (I wish I could spend more time there and buy a poncho).
We're living in a cute little house in the area of Phoenix and every house in the neighborhood are pretty much the same lol. Brianna and I share the "french room", I guess they just know France = Eiffel tower, there are 4 Eiffel towers XD.
Yesterday, we went to the Grand Canyon, 3 hours driving, and it was WAOU, super huge and so incredible, I can't explain, it looked like a picture, looks like everything was flat! weird no? But at the same time, you could see how deep it was, amazing, beautiful! It was a little crowded through, I heard so many different languages, german, swedish, chinese.. and French :p . The rocks were red and white with straight lines on it because of the ages, the wind, the water and the mother nature!
After that, we went to a small city in the middle of the red rocks, in the desert. We ate Mexican food and fried ice cream! YES fried ice cream is real haha and it was delicious.
We're looking for the perfect cactus to take pictures =D
