Santa Cruz "senior trip"
California = the beach + the sun, right?!
Well not everywhere but in Santa Cruz it's exactly the "California dream" idea that everyone have.
Saturday, I had the chance to go in Santa Cruz with the seniors even if I'm not a senior. I said "the chance" because it was free!! The band parents payed for us ($40) :) thank you so much. I had a great time (with only one dark part haha just kidding).
We left at 6:30, Cathy drove whole the way to S.C. We were 14 on 3 cars. (Three hours driving from Visalia.) Ian and I were in the back of the van, Brianna in the front and Sam, something and something in the middle.
Arrivée! The sun is already hot, the ocean is pretty and there is this big roller coaster >< 'I wanna go home!' Ian tryed to take me to a big roller coaster and I said "No, I don't like roller coaster...blablabla" so I didn't go to the first one. But for the second one, HUGE, red, (in the middle).. I couldn't say no. So I went into it and it was a really bad idea. (people who really know me should know that I'm really scared haha). I screamed and cryed all the time... sorry, I'm so weird. Ian felt so bad, it's not his fault through, I'm just not normal with that. I don't feel any fun. anyway, I did it and that's the best!
Then, we hung out, ate gross pizza super expensive, I tryed my first chocolate fudge and we went to the beach.
It was amazing, one more time, I am so lucky! I got really bad sun burn, California sun is so hot, even with sun screen I burnt... I am too white for that! :'(
By the afternoon, we all went together to the beach and I almost fall in the water with my clothes on. I was wet but fortunatly, Alicia lent me her short. thanks. They turned Gracy to the little mermaid.
We ate dinner on a nice restaurant on a pier. I had fish and it was good. Really nice. Took some more pictures and head back to home.
Thank you everyone. It was another amazing experience, life is way more excited here haha.
Thanks Ian, to carry my back pack and to buy my food :D ... and to take me to a roller coaster, at least I will have something to say to my friends :)
