Hey guys. I'm Juliette and welcome to my blog! Woohoo, if you have reached this page it means a) you're lost on the internet and you're asking yourself who the heck is this freak?, b) you'd like to know more about France, exchange year, food, traveling... me, c) are we related? friends maybe?, d) none of the previous answers which can be either good or bad. Anyway, just to summarize the history of this page : I created this blog a long time ago to share my life as an exchange student in America. Now, I write when I feel like it, about whatever I feel like talking about. My life ain't really intresting but we all have our story and here is part of mine. (Also, sometimes I do write about smart stuff you might be intrested in). Check it out and forgive me whenever I sound foolish or when I make mistakes. This is all personal. Love, Juliette

I know, I knowww... I was "busy" runining around France, from South to North.

I went with my family (mom's side) in Corcica (French island just below the continent in the Mediterranean sea). We spend half of our time lying on the towels and swimming in the blue sea. The rest of time we hiked in the mountain.

But I already told you that last time.

Then, I went in "Bretagne" (west-north France) with my daddy and my step-mom... and Lea!

The first few days we were at my step-mom's mother house. We visited a castle 1 step...2 steps...100 steps! Downstairs, upstairs... It was fun.

Lea, my dad, my step mother, my grandparents and I stayed together at my grandparents house. A beautiful, old farm with 3 bathrooms and 5 bed rooms. I'm so happy Lea was there with me, she was a great support when I was in California, lost and foreign.

The Atlantic ocean is very very cold but we did it! We swam twice in the ice sea. Freezing! We hang out around every city : Quimper, Concarneau...

On the 17th august, we came back in Paris. I went to a jazz club with my dad.

The last week of august, I spend my days learning the "code" for my future driver licence. In France it's long end difficult to get a driver licence. It cost about $1,700. 1st we have to pass the writing test 40 questions, 5 mistakes max. Then, 20 hours with en instructor and I can drive with my parents. 3,000km later, I pass the driving test and I can drive by myself.

I also spend a eek end with my dad & co' in Normandy (you know D-Day, american saved our lives ;) ). We had a great "hotel", twin room. It was cool! I love to travel. :

Anyway, I had such wonderful 3 months vacation. I'm looking forward to see my new classmates and my new schedules.

I wish you guys an amazing new year and lots of good things.

Good luck with high school or College! :
