It's been a long time! (Rome part 1)
It's been a verrry long time since I wrote something on my blog.
Actually, I keep this blog only to improve my English writing skill which is very bad and to talk about me wich is, I know, very boring and uninteresting. I only have a few followers and it doesn't matter...Thank you guys :)
Merry Christmas! I was with my mom's family for Christmas in Alsace (region : east of France, near Germany). It is the same thing every 2 years (because I spend Christmas once with my father and once with my mother) :
- Lots of food, cakes, chocolates, Turkeys and traditional dishes.
- Sleeping in my great-grand-mother house. It's a very very old traditional house (maybe 300 years old) and I share a single bed with my little brother. The toilet is outside and the bathroom (because toilet and bathroom are separated in France) is upstairs.
- Church on Christmas eve because my family is Catholic (even if I'm not, I always go with them).
- Presents (the best part :) ) money, money, money, a bag (Desigual) , clothes and chocolates.
I love this little family time and btw my mom's uncle has horses :D.
So, right now I'm on a little trip (I know..again) in Rome the capital of Italy ! Rome is such a beautiful city, full of history. I love it because it feels like you are walking through a very far past. Farther than Jesus Christ, when people were creating monuments and art without the technologies we have today. You can see in the same district a temple built before JC and a house built during the Middle Age. I can't explain, it's just wonderful!
I still have 4 more days here and I'm enjoying those days as much as I can. My dad, my step-mom and I walk through Rome the whole day, kilometers after kilometers, but we always get to see beautiful places. The food is awesome too, pizza, pasta, tomatoes... everything taste so good! I wish I could share this with you. ^^
Tomorrow, we're gonna see the unique Pope Francis ! And at midnight, a beautiful fireworks above the Piazza Di Popolo!
About the rest of my life... well, I still have a good grade, I don't know yet how I did on my "french final" but I think I did good, my brothers are doing good and everything works fine.
I don't remember if I told you but I'M GONNA HAVE A LITTLE BROTHER!!! Yes, a boy, in May! I can't wait. My house is already full with boys but another one will bring more fun into the family I guess. OMG 5 kids!
About the weather, we are really close to have snow....really, really close....If someone from the sky could make the snow fall I would be so glad, thank you. XD
California... it's been 6 months. I miss you* so much. (*my host-family : the Lim, MW students and teachers, the weather, Taco Bell haha, the friends I had back there and YouKnowWho :p ). I can't wait to come back... maybe in a year and half (after high school for me).
I wish you good luck with the storm. They talked about it on TV. (well, it was like 3 weeks ago).
Grazie Mille! Merci! Danke schon! Thank you!
