I'm 18 but I look like a 14 years old girl.
how's life when you look 4 years younger than you are ?
Number 1 : people make those big "what ? nooo ! really !" eyes when you tell them you are an adult. (happens at least once a day) lol
Number 2 : in France, you can drink alcool when you are 18 but for me it's impossible unless I have my ID card on me (I'm not fond of alcool anyway)
Number 3 : Can't buy lottery tickets either. I tryed and they asked for my ID. (it was fun tho and I won 4€ haha)
Number 4 : You can cheat and have discounts sometimes, very handy !
Number 5 : when you go out (party) people of your age doesn't talk to you until they know your age so I have to use all sorts of trick to tell them how old I am without making it sound like "hey, don't look at me like i'm younger than you are !". And no one offers you a drink because "you look so young" !
Number 6 : when you work, people think you're doing an internship for a week with your mama around. They treat you nicely, like you are still a child. It has it's advantages tho.
Number 7 : people does not trust you ! annoying
Number 8 : the friends of your friends think you are his/her little sister.
Number 9 : can't be by your own in big cities (even if I did it. I went to California on my own and I survived there for 10 months).
Number 10 : think about the future... you will always look younger !
I take it as an asset ! Do the same and share your experiences :D
"Life is short and so am I" !
