Hey guys. I'm Juliette and welcome to my blog! Woohoo, if you have reached this page it means a) you're lost on the internet and you're asking yourself who the heck is this freak?, b) you'd like to know more about France, exchange year, food, traveling... me, c) are we related? friends maybe?, d) none of the previous answers which can be either good or bad. Anyway, just to summarize the history of this page : I created this blog a long time ago to share my life as an exchange student in America. Now, I write when I feel like it, about whatever I feel like talking about. My life ain't really intresting but we all have our story and here is part of mine. (Also, sometimes I do write about smart stuff you might be intrested in). Check it out and forgive me whenever I sound foolish or when I make mistakes. This is all personal. Love, Juliette

On Friday night, a group of terrorists targeted Paris in a series of coordinated gun and bomb attacks. But you probably already know. A week after the terrosits attacked, I thought I had to write a little something. Because I'm not good enough with words and I don't think I can be the judge of what happened, here is some texts people from all time and country wrote.

“Peace is the only battle worth waging.” ― Albert Camus

"Let me make myself clear. I hate ISIS or ISIL or whatever they are being called anymore. (I've been seeing both on social media.) I hate them so much, and I agree with everyone that says they deserve to be taken down. But here is what that means. An extremist group of people deserve what is coming to them. That does NOT mean Syrian refugees deserve displacement. That does NOT mean all Muslims are terrorists. That does NOT mean Donald Trump should be president. That means that an extremist group of people deserve to die. I can support that one hundred percent. What I can't support is the hate that people are falling into because of them. That is what they want. They want to cause this hatred and infighting. They want to cause the persecution of other people's. It satisfies there terrible views of who we are as a country. My only question then is: why are we letting them win?"_American student

Like I said, i don't think I have enough knowledge to judge or give a valuable opinion. I am shocked like everybody else and I thanks everyone for their support to my country (and to myself).
