Hey guys. I'm Juliette and welcome to my blog! Woohoo, if you have reached this page it means a) you're lost on the internet and you're asking yourself who the heck is this freak?, b) you'd like to know more about France, exchange year, food, traveling... me, c) are we related? friends maybe?, d) none of the previous answers which can be either good or bad. Anyway, just to summarize the history of this page : I created this blog a long time ago to share my life as an exchange student in America. Now, I write when I feel like it, about whatever I feel like talking about. My life ain't really intresting but we all have our story and here is part of mine. (Also, sometimes I do write about smart stuff you might be intrested in). Check it out and forgive me whenever I sound foolish or when I make mistakes. This is all personal. Love, Juliette

Japan expo, make a wish

Publié par Juliette K

Hello everyone !

Today, I was very lucky to be invited to the Japan expo by my friend Esther. It was the third time we went. She bought a friend of her along. We had such a great time. I think they are still in there to get an autograph but I had to head back home.

I bought weird food and a "cosplay" which is actually a white kimono and cat accessoiries (ears and tail) ... super cuuute ! I'm all set for next year or any costume party. My friend bought tons of manga and a beautiful dress.

The Japan expo is very incredible, people walk around in wonderful costumes and hold "FREE HUGS" 's sign haha. It was very crowded and hot but it was so worth it because you kind of feel like you are travelling for a moment at least.

This brings me to the "make a wish" part. In the middle of the hundred stands full with books, food, gifts and indefined japanese stuff, there is a place where you can write a wish and hang it to bamboo trees. Mine was : "I wish to travel the world, I wish happiness to everyone and I send all my love, Juliette". Esther said she wished to become an osteopath and her friend wrote "I want to find my soul mate". What are your wishes ? I wonder.

Yesterday, we won the soccer game against Germany (2-0). They are the world's champion so, it was a veeerrry big deal for the french citizens. Tomorrow is the final against Portugual. My friends from high school and I decided to watch the game in Paris! I don't care about soccer but I'm looking forward to experience (hopefully) our victory. :)
